Skittle Shrimp
Our cull shrimp are all different colours and shades but the majority are lower graded variants of our cherry, blue velvet, golden back yellow which are all bred in the UK in our thriving shrimp room ~ ABSOLUTELY NO IMPORTS
Shrimps will be between 1-1.5cm long, WE DO NOT SEND ADULT SHRIMP. We prefer to send juveniles as they travel better and adapt more easily into their new environments
Great beginner shrimp ~ perfect algae eaters
Quite an interesting shrimp as you never know what you'll get when they breed as it will be varied shades of red, green or blue
Easy to keep, although easy there are a few very important facts to consider, the tank has to be cycled with all the correct parameters, be very careful of tank mates, ideally no fish but there are some fish that are safe, do your research!!!
In the right conditions shrimps breed really easily and before long a few can become a whole colony
The shrimp will initially be pale in colour due to travel but they will soon flourish when settled if the conditions are right
We will only resend/refund for shrimps that arrive dead, if this is the case do not open the bag and send a picture asap of the dead shrimp in the bag. We will not be held responsible for shrimps that die whilst in the tank, it is your responsibility to make sure the conditions/tank mates are correct
