5 x Strands Hornwort (Ceratophyllum Demersum) Oxygenating Aquatic Plant
We use hornwort in all our tanks, its a great oxygenator, easy to grow, looks great and shrimp just love to hang out on it.
The bright green leaves are thin and rigid, similar to pine needles. Much like water sprite and java moss, hornwort has dense foliage that provides excellent protection for baby shrimp or fry. It’s a rootless plant so can be left to float but can be weighted down. If stems break they will simply regrow.
